Complex Trauma – A Webinar for ADHD Coaches
Facilitator: Alyson Jenkins
If someone is struggling with Complex Trauma life can be painful and difficult. People often self-medicate with drugs or alcohol and possibly indulge in other self-destructive behaviours.
Many people with ADHD have complex trauma as well. A few are misdiagnosed because there are many similarities in how they present - it is not straightforward. This webinar will look at similarities and differences, and the compounding effect of having both ADHD and Complex Trauma so that you are better able to adapt your coaching to the client’s needs. This is an interactive couple of hours, with time for discussions and questions. It is designed to help you with your coaching practice.

Anita Patel combines professional expertise with lived experience to share practical, neuro-affirming strategies that will help you coach with confidence and sensitivity. Bring your questions for an interactive session that will expand your understanding and strengthen your toolkit for supporting diverse minds.

Coaching Young People with ADHD
Facilitator: Adam MacMillan-Scott MBE
Working as an ADHD coach with young people can be an incredibly rewarding experience, but it’s not for the faint hearted. It takes more work and investment than traditional coaching to be fully effective, but it’s possibly one of the most important interventions in a young person’s life. It can mean better choices and greater success in education and life.
This webinar will take you through a series of discussions, centred around the techniques and approaches which are most effective in supporting young people with ADHD. It will explain the mechanics of how you might best work with parents and school in a collaborative way.
We will also cover pricing, the frequency of sessions with young people and what support you might expect to get from schools SEND and pastoral care departments. We will look at the amount of time required to create a sustainable impact.
There’s a lot to think about, but the impact of your coaching can be transformative.
